Become Enfightened.
Skip a few days and you feel it. The body starts breaking down — skin, eyes, everything goes soft and watery. That’s the decay, and it never stops coming. You’re sliding down a hill. You can’t stop the slide. But you can claw against it — slow it down, and some days even climb back up.
Enfighten is what you become by fighting it. Forty years of martial arts — karate, jiu-jitsu — forty years of yoga. Not grinding blind: showing up smart, reading your own body, hard days and easy days. That’s the part four decades teach you. More good years. A longer healthspan. Earned, daily.
I’m 62 and I still train every day. Karate, jiu-jitsu, yoga, BMX. Every day’s a battle. The hill wins eventually. Not today. Fight the decay.
